Why We Decided to Home School

A year ago my husband and I agonized over the decision of whether or not to remove our two grade-school age children from public school and educate them with a quality home school curriculum. We live in South Carolina and the education was greatly lacking, and several home school curriculums appealed to us.

After researching the home school curriculums and home school requirements, we decided to make the move.

We are now in our second year of homeschooling and we all love it. I've seen great changes in my children and their attitude concerning learning. They have more creativity, curiosity, and much less stress. I have a feeling this is just the beginning of a very interesting journey through home school curriculum. We would all recommend this type of education. Remember, it's not what we teach that makes an education; it's what they learn.
