Kindergarten Lesson
Plans Provide the Basics of Structured Learning
There is nothing more endearing than
seeing the serious little faces of a graduating
kindergarten class. They will have survived the first
year of their kindergarten lesson plans and be ready for
more education of a more serious nature. Their
kindergarten lesson plan will have helped then to adjust
to the schedule of going to school daily and the
behavior that is expected of them. They will have gotten
the very basics of structured learning from the
kindergarten lesson plans and will ready to enter into a
greater challenge next year. Kindergarten is a very big
year for children taking them from infancy to starting
to be educated beings.
Every home that sends a child to school for the first
time will be different from the one next door to it.
Kindergarten lesson plans need to be able to address all
of these children or at least the majority of them. Some
children will have a very hard time adjusting to the big
changes in their lives. Other children will take great
pleasure in the exposure to so many new things and
people. The goal will be to give all types of children
the basic skills they will need to function well in the
education system they are part of.
Teachers that work with
kindergarten lesson plans will
know that they need to remain flexible to a certain
degree. They may have goals in their plans but little
children may not always be easily directed and the goals
may need to be adjusted. Too much structure is not
always possible with young untrained minds.
